the happy ending of plastic
''Once upon a time there was a bottle top and an egg box that were about to end up in the unsorted waste but instead... they became violins!''
Our project is one of transformation:
-
PHYSICS: we take the washed plastic types 1, 2, 5 and 6 (remnants of school canteens, waste from neighbourhood families, etc.), we shred it, melt it and make it into a pedagogical violin, thanks to the machines designed by Precious Plastic.
-
AND SOCIAL: we involve neighbourhood schools and families, we educate about recycling in classrooms and in the workshop, and with pedagogical violins we create a children's orchestra together with the association Pequeñas Huellas.
